| EXPLORING FUTALEUFU
PROGRAM Day 1:
Arrival at Puerto Montt, small plane or catamaran to Chaitén. Trip to Futaleufu in one of
our vehicles. Reception, special cocktail at Hosteria Rio Grande, adventure lodge.
Day 2:
Rapids 3 and 4 . This river comes from a glacier, so we will have a great view from Nuns
Hill which has its name due to the shape of the peeks that reach the sky.
Day 3:
Breakfast, Rafting Futaleufú River
Section bridge to bridge (4+)
A day of rafting is the best way to experiment and fall in love with a river like this.
This river is famous around the world with its turquoise water and nice currents. This
will be a wonderful experience with all the team. Lunch by the river
Supper and lodging at Hostel Río Grande.
Day 4:
Breakfast, horse back riding to The Escalas
This journey offers a special private conexión with the wild life of Patagonia, watching
different kinds of trees, birds, and wild flowers, along a landscape similar to paradise,
bordering Futaleufú river and its spectacular canyons.
Lunch in the area, back to Futaleufú, supper and lodging at Hostel Rio Grande.
Day 5:
Canyoning: you want more adrenalin? We take you to see the mountain, penetrating the
forest to reach the lagoons where the waterfalls begin, which go down ton ice backwaters.
More fun hell lunch on the mountain. A day full of activities.
Supper and lodging at Hostel.
Day 6:
Breakfast and the we prepare everything to carry out the different activities we have to
offer like mountain bike camping, trekking, snorking, etc. We start with our mountain
bikes from Futaleufú bordering Espolón river, surrounded by the beautiful forest, we
continue trekking towards to the mouth of the river, the only river ranged grade 6 in the
province. We have lunch by the river, later we get on our sit on top boats and go down the
river for three hours. It is possible to dive in some nice backwaters and then reach the
confluence of Espolón and Futaleufú rivers. Going back to the hotel, supper and lodging.
Day 7:
Puente Macal Rafting
Time to try type 4, 4+ and add a number 5 in the best clear waters of the Patagonia. We
will end going down through this spectacular river passing White Waters and always amazed
by the beautiful sight.
Day 8:
Breakfast. Going back home.
