FUTALEUFÚ,
THE INTENSIVE PROGRAM Includes 6 days, 5 nights accommodation in
hosteria Rio Grande in double rooms; all meals and flight or catamaran to/from Chaitén
Double room occupancy.
Day 1
transfer Puerto Montt / Chaitén by small plane or catamaran, you will be met in Chaitén
and transferred to hosteria Rio Grande in Futaleufú.
Day 2
breakfast. After breakfast we prepare for our activities: mountain biking, canoeing,
trekking and snorkeling, we leave on mountain bike from Futaleufú following Rio Espolon
(of crystalline waters) passing through forests and mountains. Trekking to the outlet of
lake Espolon, the only grade 6 of the province. We lunch on the river bank, then get on an
Top (a craft similar to a kayak, but doesn´t require experience) and descend this
beautiful river for 5 hours, we dive in beautiful pools until we arrive close to the
confluence of the Rio Espolon and the Rio Futaleufú before we return to the hotel to have
dinner and our night rest.
Day 3
breakfast. Rafting the bridge section of Rio Futaleufú;, grade 4 and 4+. The river is
incredible turquoise of color and called by many the best river in the world for rafting.
Lunch on the riverbanks.
Day 4 breakfast. A new day of rafting the Rio Futaleufú, this time the Hell section,
grade 5. Riverside lunch and then continue rafting in the afternoon. , transfer back to
the hosteria Rio Grande, dinner and bed.
Day 5
breakfast. Third day rafting the Rio Futaleufu, today the terminator section, grade 5.
Lunch by the river then continue rafting. Transfer to hosteria Rio Grande dinner and bed.
Day 6
breakfast. Transfer to Chaitén and onwards to Puerto Montt. End of the great adventure. |
